About The Young Academy
The Young Academy, DUA in short, was established in 2011 by The Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters as an independent forum for young researchers from all branches of academia.
The purpose of DUA is to strengthen basic research and interdisiplinary exchange, to bridge the gap between science and society, and to offer some of the country’s most talented young researchers a public voice.
DUA still has a close relation to The Royal Academy.

The Young Academy ‘s supreme authority is the assembly of members who selects the chair and the vice-chair.
